Here are some ideas for new card layout that better highlight the type of card. I like the ones with italic text. I think the green might be darkened up a touch. Let me know what you think – I am down to tweak it up a little but will probably go with an easy fix for the current card run.
Here are some other questions about cards and wording?
Ambushing – You may discard two cards, add both their bangs to your “army Power?” Army size?” What are we calling the number you add to your army size?
Bound to the Past – currently ” If you have the most ants in Great Tunnel +3 VP.” I think it is too easy and shoulds be changed to If you have 8 or more ants in the great Tunnel +3 VP. I am open ot other suggestions.
Pheromonic – Weak and complex and antiSymbiotic. I want to change to During Slumber you may convert 3 Larvae to 1 VP. My only concern is this might get out of hand. At end of game Ryan had 18 larvae = 6 potential points. Howver he would not have got the Larvae bonus if he had sac them. Thoughts?
Marching – I think I will change this to march 3 additional steps when you march and 1 additional step when other players march. (Even if we don’t keep the mini-march secondary I think this is good.)
Fungus Cultivating – was food feeds more ants. With Abdomen increasing feeding I think it s cleaner to have something else. Thought we would change it to old APhid HErding. “You may collect food from two collection sites.
Alluring – previously Charismatic is really complex without the fun of Suicidally Altruistic

You may March Larva into any hex that is adjacent to one you inhabit.
Enemy Ants cannot March out of contested hexes where you are the Defender.
Wily Nilly Forager – Discard a card. Reveal the top card of the deck. If your card is higher bang gain 1 food. If it is lower gain 1 larva.
Hexes where you are the defender are not considered contested until there are three or more ants not in collection sites.
