As spring dawns the great thaw begins. Deep beneath the lush meadow grasses the queen stirs in her nest as the colony comes to life. Soldiers venture forth, battling centipedes while competing for territory with opposing colonies. Workers dig an ever-expanding network of tunnels as they search for food. As the first larvae hatch it is clear this generation will be different: the young colonies are rapidly evolving into a multitude of new forms, marching out to claim the meadow as their own.
In March of the Ants, you create the shared Meadow board by sending your ants to explore it – revealing and strategically placing over 30 unique tiles like Fern, Pebble, and Nest of Centipedes. Populate new territory by breeding larvae and marching your ants onto feeding sites. Will you engage competing colonies in battle, seeking to claim the land for yourself? Or will you establish peaceful, symbiotic relationships and share the spoils? Carefully manage the resources you’ve collected in your underground nest. Forage for action cards like Forced Cannibalism, Cold Snap, and Thunderstorm that impact the entire board. Mutate your colony with special evolution cards like the Ambrosia Beetle abdomen, Aphid Herding thorax, and Suicidally Altruistic head. What weird and wondrous path will your colony’s evolution take – advanced Workers, fearsome Soldiers, or a fertile Queen? Emerge victorious by meeting both shared, public objectives and secret, private objectives represented by victory cards that foster diverse routes to victory. Featuring beautiful original art and illustrations, March of the Ants is a fun, dynamic, and interactive board game that takes strategy underground…literally!
In Little Pig players each take on the role of three little pigs who are competing to become the Three Little Pigs of storied fame and legend. The pigs must work to build a straw house, a wood house and a brick house. Each turn, players send one of their Pigs to gather resources needed to build houses, trying to outguess the other pigs when they choose to gather in the Field, the Woodlot or the Brickyard. Players will gain more resources if they are alone, but they run the risk of being captured by the Big Bad Wolf. After gathering, players send their pigs to complete one of three Actions: Building, Going to Market, or visiting Mama Pig’s house. Get tools and jobs along the way to help your pigs gather and build more effectively. Little Pig, build quickly, build wisely and build safely because the Big Bad Wolf is on the loose. The first player to build all three houses wins!
